Tobey Building

The State of New Hampshire, Bureau of Public Works hired Lavallee Brensinger to renovate the Tobey Building on the Governor Hugh J Gallen State Office Park campus and construct a parking deck that will increase parking capacity to 300 spaces.

The renovation of this building will allow the Department to consolidate into one facility all of its administrative functions that are currently performed in four locations. In addition to all administrative functions being transferred to this facility, the facility will house the Concord Local Office, which provides free job service and unemployment claims assistance to citizens within the Concord labor market area. When complete the facility will house nearly 300 employees.

The project includes extensive renovations, a building envelope upgrade, life safety code improvements, a new MEP/Fire Protection System with chilled beam heating and cooling, and full ADA accessibility.
