Manchester, NH’s Boy Scout Troop 104 recently earned their Architectural Merit Badge with the assistance of Lavallee Brensginer Architects. The group toured the architects’ offices to learn about the role of architects today. The group then visited The Derryfield School new Gateway Building to see a project first hand. Led by Lance Whitehead, the Scouts learned how various components come together, asked questions, and engaged the onsite Construction Manager, ProCon Construction, in the experience. Through these tours, the boys gained an understanding of how well-designed buildings go from ideas to reality.
