In 2010, Lavallee Brensinger prepared a Master Plan for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center’s Lebanon campus. The principal motivation for the plan was to identify opportunities for the development of additional inpatient beds. Among discovered opportunities was the Building 3 Conversion of an outpatient rehabilitation unit into a new 14 bed critical care unit. Points of interest include:

• Acuity Adaptable Private Rooms: Critical Care-Med/Surg
• Acuity Adaptable nurse support space: Bedside stations for Critical Care; Satellite stations for Med/Surg
• Create a new model room for current and future conversions
