Healthcare:
Medical Education and Clinical Simulation

Concord Hospital engaged Lavallee Brensinger Architects to design a new high-fidelity Simulation and Education Center for the Hospital clinical staff, other local medical providers, and first responders. The new facility provides training for multidisciplinary skills, procedures, team interaction, quality control, and event management. The overall goal is to improve patient care, patient safety, as well as team performance and communication.

The new Center features an OR/ED Trauma room, ICU lab, multipurpose inpatient lab, exam room, and dental simulations, as well as a Skills/Task Training Lab. The program also includes a reception area, conference center, and debrief rooms, as well as administrative and clinical support space.
