New Hampshire Veterans' Home
Master Plan – Community Living Centers
Senior Living:
Assisted Living and Long-Term Care
The New Hampshire Veterans’ Home required a comprehensive 20 year plan to upgrade their facilities and transition their housing model. The Veterans Administration is promoting the conversion of all VA facilities from traditional housing models to Community Living Centers, family based units. The Master Plan consists of seven distinct on campus phases, sized to address periodic funding cycles and designed to allow continuous operations during construction. The completed facility will house 250 veterans in 20 units, Community Living Centers clustered into 7 neighborhoods, each abutting the indoor “town center,” complete with dining, activities, gardens, and socializing spaces.
