Rutland Regional Medical Center’s new two-story 37,000 SF medical office building is named after the hospital’s former President and CEO, Thomas W. Huebner. The facility houses ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) and Audiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the Vermont Orthopedic Clinic (VOC) medical practices.

The building was designed to increase staff efficiency by relocating off-campus outpatient services within the hospital and integrating overlapping program elements. Hospital programs were also streamlined through sharing and consolidating registration departments, consultation spaces, and conference rooms, which also resulted in greater patient access. Energy efficient measures were also implemented through the use of photovoltaic and geothermal energy systems.

The facility is a significant investment for RRMC and the community they serve, allowing them to continue their mission to improve the health of the Rutland region.
