North Country Hospital
Primary Care Building

Healthcare:
Ambulatory | Medical Office Building

Following an analysis of the Hospital’s existing medical office facilities, it was determined that the optimal long-term solution was to build a new, free-standing medical office building. Working closely with the clinical staff, the design team incorporated a clinical pod concept to promote staff efficiency, improved patient flow, and operational flexibility. The new building is the first in Vermont to follow the “medical home” model, providing the following programs: physician practices (internal medicine and family practice), lab services, a group visit room, mental health services, and flex space for visiting / part-time specialists.
