Pelham High School
Renovation and Addition
K-12 Education:
Performing Arts
Pelham School District engaged Lavallee Brensinger Architects to design a renovation and addition to their current high school. After a successful bond vote the project quickly moved forward with renovations to the 86,500 square foot campus plus a 41,800 square foot addition. The occupied and phased project broke ground in September 2014 and is scheduled for final completion in August 2016.
The new Pelham High School will add nearly fifty percent to its existing footprint. Additional and expanded wings will now accommodate separate music, science, art, and technology education departments. A brand new auditorium will replace use of the gym and cafeteria as existing performance space. On the exterior, added elements will include increased staff and faculty parking, a softball field, and tennis courts designated for both school and community use.
