Sappi North American Headquarters


Sappi engaged our team to design an office they could be proud of for their North American Headquarters. They wanted to create a better environment for their employees that would accommodate the specific style of working that each department required while maintaining flexibility for future growth. Sappi desired attractive workspace with amenities that would entice new and existing employees to work in-office. Working with the Client and their Owner’s Project Manager, costs were strategically managed through the design while still creating a comfortable space that features a communal kitchenette/pantry area, collaborative work spaces, and a training room that can be transformed into a large all-office function space.

The new office allowed for greater privacy for small meetings and phone calls provided by huddle rooms, collaboration booths, and phone rooms, as well as maximized views for all employees at their workstations to the natural landscape surrounding the site. These strategies have improved employee comfort and help boost productivity for the users. More than anything, this new office design helped re-energize employees with an enjoyable place to come to work each day.
