Higher Education:
Medical Education and Clinical Simulation

In close collaboration with the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) and Springfield Technical Community College, Lavallee Brensinger Architects completed a comprehensive study to relocate the School of Health and Patient Simulation. The study included an existing condition assessment, space utilization analysis, programming, prototyping, design, and cost estimating. The project is currently in the design phase.

The program includes nursing, medical assisting, surgical technology, respiratory care, diagnostic medical sonography, radiology technology, health sciences, occupational therapy assistants, physical therapy assistants, and dental hygiene assistants. All programs will utilize a new, comprehensive simulation center supported by an in-house Innovations Operations team. The program also includes a forward-facing clinic for OT, PT, and dental services.
