Medical Education and Clinical Simulation

The new Roseman University Simulation Building will be a state-of-the art, multidisciplinary medical education and simulation center, featuring nationally recognized best practices, evidence-based design principles with new, innovative approaches to simulation-based education and training. The new center is programmed and designed to provide learning environments for Roseman University’s Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing, and NAP programs. The new facility will give our next generation of healthcare professionals the opportunity to master their skills in collaborative, open skills labs and high-fidelity simulation labs. The program includes training opportunities for both individual and interprofessional team-based scenarios that encompass the full continuum of care.

The new Center is a 3-story, 84,000 SF facility purposefully designed to promote highly effective educational environments by creating multipurpose/flexible simulation spaces with a highly effective space plan that promotes optimum operations and logistics; proper circulation of learners, visitors, faculty, standardized patients, and supplies; purposeful access to natural light; supports simulation encounters that cross multiple spaces; and easily accessible backstage storage space to increase utilization by minimizing room turnover and downtime.
