The Adirondack Health Medical Fitness Center is a 40,000 SF facility located across the street from the US Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY, and is being developed to serve the local community as a replacement medical facility, as well as serving the Olympic Sports community as a training and rehabilitation center. The facility includes a free-standing, part-time Emergency Department (the only of its type in New York), Medical and Orthopedic Clinics, Ancillary Services (X-Ray, Laboratory), Physical Rehabilitation and a Fitness Program that includes a 5,000 SF Gym, Group Exercise Room, Hydrotherapy Pool and a 3-lane 75′ Lap Pool.

The major component of the Adirondack Health Lake Placid Medical Fitness Center is the “Med/Fit Program”. The large open fitness gym with free weights and machines is directly adjacent to, and visible from, the Physical Rehabilitation space integrating the treatment and healing functions with the members’ use of the fitness center.
