Lavallee Brensinger Architects has enjoyed a long standing relationship with the Manchester Airport, providing design services for dozens of projects over many years.

In association with Howard Needles Tammen and Bergendoff, Lavallee Brensinger designed the new Terminal Building, a 170,000 square foot, three-story facility that includes seven second-level jetways, seven apron level regional airline loading gates, airport Administration offices, and complete passenger services.

Following great success and tremendous growth of the new airport, Lavallee Brensinger, in association with William Nicholas Bodouva+Associates, designed the 70,000 square foot expansion project. The new wing, built along the west end of the existing terminal, includes: four jet-bridge gates and holdrooms, two baggage claim handlers, 60 linear feet of new ticket counter, security check point, concessions, Airline Ticket offices and outbound baggage, Airline Operations, and a new Sheriff’s department.

Lavallee Brensinger’s attention to intuitive circulation design has contributed to the airport’s reputation as one of the most passenger-friendly airports in the country.
