Rebuilding an Ambulatory Care Network

Healthcare:
Ambulatory | Medical Office Building

The project included a system wide ambulatory care replacement across 9 locations, 450,000 sf, over a 3-year period. Before project sites were selected, Lavallee Brensinger Architects created an interactive process, engaging all stakeholders, to develop solutions that enhanced and supported their team-based care model using space prototyping, multi-disciplinary process improvements, volume and evidence-based program analysis, and brand development.

A key element of the project was integrating physician offices into the clinical care team rooms to promote clear communication between the primary care team.

Departments include: Adult and Pediatric Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Dermatology, Endocrine and Nutrition, Eye Services, Gastroenterology, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Radiology, Women’s Imaging, Occupational Health, Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, and Rheumatology. Construction projects include ground up new construction and adaptive re-use of non-traditional healthcare structures.
