As part of a larger renovation to an existing building, approximately 5,800 SF of the program was dedicated to a new compounding pharmacy. The program consists of two buffer rooms and one hazardous buffer room. A linear workroom for IV preparation connects the three buffer rooms to support streamlined workflow, which was a primary goal of the project.
The compounding pharmacy is supported by a dedicated warehouse area for unpacking and scanning products, a cold room for prepared medications, and a final medication check point before packaging and delivery to clients.
