Our People Are Amazing!

Anne brings a perspective to her clients and projects that is influenced by her experience with public, private, and independent environments and driven by her desire to find innovative solutions to client needs. We are so glad she became a firm member in 2017.
Joining the firm in 2015, as a Project Manager and key member of our Healthcare Design Studio, Joe’s knowledge of healthcare facilities and the construction process continues to be a valuable asset to our clients.
WELL AP Certification
During the past 20 years we have seen the positive results of green buildings and environmentally conscious building practices. Naturally, the next step is to incorporate human health and well-being into building standards. The WELL Building Standards does just that by focusing building practices around human health and comfort, while reinventing buildings that are better for both people and the planet. Sharing this sentiment, Lisa Pecora
took on the arduous task of studying and passing the WELL AP exam, becoming Lavallee Brensinger’s first employee to achieve this honor.
This credential “denotes expertise in the WELL Building Standard and a commitment to advancing human health and wellness in buildings and communities around the world,” according to WELL.
Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC®)
A voluntary energy efficiency standard, Passive House reduces a building’s ecological footprint. According to the Passive House Alliance, optimizing your gains and losses based on climate summarizes the approach. Applying Passive House Principles to “all building typologies from single-family homes to multifamily apartment buildings, offices, and skyscrapers” offers tremendous long-term benefits in addition to energy efficiency. Long-term benefits include: unmatched comfort, superb indoor air quality, extremely resilient buildings, and a path to Net Zero and Net Positive buildings.
By designing and building “quality-assured passive projects,” a Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC®) leads the adoption of Passive House. Earning this credential means the individual has received training specific to “North America’s unique climate variations, market conditions, and building components.”
