We are thrilled to announce that AIA New England has identified Lavallee Brensinger as an Emerging Professional (EP) Friendly Firm for a fourth consecutive year! This distinction recognizes that a firm has created a nurturing environment that offers professional development opportunities for emerging professionals (professionals who have completed their academic studies up to the point of licensure or up to 10 years after completion of their academic studies).
The Lavallee Brensinger Impact
Lavallee Brensinger encourages and uplifts team members throughout the entirety of the certification process. With an immense passion for supporting individual growth, the firm has organized an in-house Emerging Professionals group that meets on a regular basis. This collaborative atmosphere offers a space for individuals to find community when discussing the path to licensure and aids in the challenges that accompany being an emerging professional. This established time harbors insightful conversations and provides associates with the necessary resources to successfully complete their certification.
Rachael Gaydos is an emerging professional and spoke about her experience with the firm. Prior to accepting a full-time position as a project designer, she worked with the company as a student intern. “I knew that the people at Lavallee Brensinger always valued my effort in my work and encouraged me to grow my career in healthcare design,” recalled Gaydos. “Being matched with mentors as an emerging professional and having firm-provided study resources for licensure are contributing components to my early career growth and success.”
At Lavallee Brensinger we believe that professional development is continuous. In addition to supporting emerging professionals, we encourage team members to be lifelong learners at any stage in their careers. Congratulations to Emmaly Pense for earning her Evidence-Based Design Accreditation (EDAC), and to Brooke DeYoung, Courtney Carrier, Dylan Brown, Rachael Gaydos and Sarah Reardon for completing their Architect Registration Examination (ARE).
We recognize the scale of these accomplishments and are so lucky to have such talented people on our team!
