Lavallee Brensinger Architects in partnership with the Hard Rock Cafe have entered the annual Boston CANstruction competition to fight hunger. We constructed:
- 10 foot guitar & Hard Rock logo
- using 2,640 cans
- 2 ladders
- 20 volunteers
- in 7 hours!

CANstruction is a unique nonprofit organization which hosts competitions, exhibitions, and events showcasing colossal structures made entirely of full cans of food. After the structures are built and the winners declared, the creations go on view to the general public at the BSA | Space & Atlantic Wharf Building on Congress Street in Boston as giant art exhibits. At the close of the competition, all of the food used in the structures is donated to local food banks for distribution to community emergency feeding programs. This year all donations will be going to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank. We would like to thank our sponsors:
