Approaching a new chapter of growth, Sean Landry and Lance Whitehead will partner with Richard Pizzi, CEO and Chris Drobat, President to further strengthen the leadership team as this growing New England architectural leader approaches its fifth decade.

As Design Studio Leaders and Managing Principals, both Sean and Lance presently hold key roles within the firm. Their transition to Partners signifies their integral involvement in overseeing daily operations spanning the firm’s offices in Boston, MA, Manchester, NH, and Portland, ME. In addition, they are dedicated to cultivating a culture of diversity, inclusion and career path development among nearly 70 team members while upholding standards of innovation and design excellence.
Sean Landry, a 13-year Lavallee Brensinger veteran, subscribes to the philosophy that design can strengthen communities in more ways than one. He has focused his career on creating environments that foster kinship and places that create long-lasting memories. Additionally, as a certified Passive House Consultant Sean seeks ways to incorporate sustainability into all designs including Bowdoin College’s Park Row Student Housing and Harpswell Student Apartments.
Lance Whitehead has dedicated over 20 years of his career to Lavallee Brensinger Architects. An established leader in K-12 Education Design, Lance is creative and passionate about education and design. His passion has been demonstrated in projects such as, Sanford High School and Regional Technical Center and Salem High School and Career and Technical Education Center. Lance’s design philosophy is that beautiful, enlightened, educational environments are critical to the purpose they serve.
